Our Policies
CANCELLATION AND REFUNDS:
- Cancellation of booking at any time after confirmation has been issued may result in forfeiture of deposit(s).
- Reservations canceled 30 days or more prior to scheduled arrival will receive 100% refund, less any security deposit.
- Reservations canceled at least 14 days before the start of the stay will receive a 50% refund, less any security deposit.
- Reservations canceled with less than 14 days prior to arrival will receive 0% refund.
Refund of monies paid for rental and services will be made under the following circumstances: (1) If, on the day that the rental is scheduled to begin, the property is unfit for habitation and no equivalent substitute can be obtained.
To protect against cancellations caused by certain unforeseen events, such as illness, death, natural disasters, etc., we recommend that guests purchase trip cancellation and Interruption Protection insurance to assure refund of deposits paid and reimbursement of other vacation payments. Such insurance is available through travel agents, auto clubs such as AAA, or online at http://www.rentalguardian.com/
POWER/ WEATHER RELATED CANCELATION: Visit Winter Park Lodging does NOT issue refunds due to acts of nature such as: weather, road conditions, snow conditions, power outages or forest fires, but Rental Guardian does provide some protection against these instances. Nor do we refund If the property is uninhabitable due to such circumstances and you did not purchase insurance, reservations can be rescheduled for future dates within one year of the reservation date.
