Before trying the delicious New Mexican classic, start with a tasty appetizer, such as New Mexican Juantons, Shorty 40’s Sliders, or Sloppy Jose Nachos.
Once you’re ready for an entree, we’d recommend the El Ultimo Burrito, Avenida Fish Tacos, K’S Veggie Burrito, and A Taste of New Mexico (Smothered El Ultimo Burrito, Relleno, and Tamale, Smothered Green, Red or Christmas).
Authentic New Mexican Red and Green Chile
If you’re a fan of authentic New Mexican red and green chile, this is the stop for you in Winter Park Colorado. The Ditch Burger is “highly addictive”, with ⅓ chopped hatch green chile, cheese, mayo, mustard, lettuce, tomato, and grilled onion. Ted’s Caveman Burger is bunless (yes your read that right), with 2 oz. of red chile topped with a ⅓ patty and chopped hatch green chile.
Still not convinced of The Ditch’s love for chile? Very well, the Chama Chicken Sandwich is next up on the menu, a blackened chicken breast with bacon, chopped hatch green chile, lettuce, tomato, and much more.
Without a doubt, The Ditch is the home for green chile lovers in Winter Park Colorado. Of all the Winter Park restaurants, stick with The Ditch when it comes to hatch green chile.
If you don’t love green chile, there’s an option for you too, albeit not the most welcoming one… “The B*tch Burger” is just the same as The Ditch Burger, barring any hatch green chiles. You’re welcome to order one, at your own risk.
In between bites of your delicious entrees, nibble on some sides of sweet potato fries, onion rings, and smothered fries.
