Grand Elk Golf Club

The Grand Elk Golf Club in Granby, Colorado is home to one of the state’s original “Heathland” style courses. The unique course design aims to highlight the existing natural beauty unique to the Colorado Rocky Mountain landscape while offering players unique challenges that aim to inspire creativity. Golfers will traverse Grand Elk’s beautifully maintained grounds surrounded by vegetation native to the area and framed by pristine waterways. Take a brief video tour of the grounds here to get a taste of the one of a kind experiences offered at the Grand Elk Golf club. Despite offering incredible mountain views throughout the course, Grand Elk is consistently described by well-traveled players as “Not your typical mountain course”. The club has been consistently recognized as exceptional by notable publications such as Golf Digest, Colorado Golf, and Golfweek Magazine. The course at Grand Elk Golf Club is simply remarkable; and a can’t miss stop on any Winter Park golf vacation.

Opening in 2002, the course originally was available exclusively to members of the private club, but has since become open to the public for daily rates. As the club expanded its availability, it also made significant strides in improving and maintaining the course. You can find information regarding seasonal and daily pricing here.  The club also offers lessons to golfers of all ages and skill levels through Grand Elk Golf Instruction. You can inquire about scheduling individual or group lessons by contacting Tim Castillo at the golf shop at (970) 887-9122. Grand Elk also has the new exciting alternative to the traditional golf cart, the GolfBoard which gives players the chance to quickly scooter around the course with their baggage conveniently in tow.
