With over 600 miles of bike trails, we invite you to explore the mountain biking in Winter Park mecca right here in our own backyard! Every few weeks we will have a local mountain biking in Winter Park maniac share their favorite single tracks, stories, or gear, but to start we figured we’d let you in on a few of the parks to get you started. Check out the Bike Grand County Colorado below.

Visit Headwaters Trails Alliance:
• This map displays all the trails in Grand County Colorado! (And let’s just say there are a whole lot more than just 600 miles worth!) This map will connect you with rides and trails for all levels and ability. Read between the lines (and we’re talking topographic lines). There is nothing worse than jumping on a trail only to find it is as flat as a board, or involves riding up ten thousand+ vertical feet…unless you’re into that!
• Who should use this map? If you are a serious mountain biker, looking to get to know the area and discovering some of the lesser-known rides, we’d recommend looking into this map!
Bike Parks:
Trestle Bike Park:
This kick-butt, downhill bike park typically opens mid to late June and offers everything from beginner classes and rides, to extreme terrain and trails for the most expert riders. Lift-served trails take the uphill heave out of your ride, (who actually likes that part anyway?).
Bike Granby Ranch:
This park has typically gotten shafted, but after a few years of development and a few more of discovery, it is finally starting to be exposed as the sick park that it is. Many riders have even found that for difficulty, tracks, and features, Granby Ranch outranks those of the neighboring “monster bike parks” throughout Colorado and Utah. (Plus it has free access to miles of xc trails, and the only lift-served X-C trail access in the area!)
